Location within country: The project is located between Hormozgan, Kerman and Yazd Provinces. The project starts from in the desalinization plants in the western part of Bandar Abbas City, (adjacent to the shipyard) the of pipe line, passes through the mountain part of Finn and Haji-Abad cities and enters the plain and moves toward Gol-Gohar Mining Co. which is located 50 kilometers south-west of Sirjan city then the pipe line moved toward Sarcheshmeh Copper Mines located south-west of Rafsanjan City in Kerman Province. Subsequently, from sarcheshme transmission line, moves toward Yazd Province until it reaches Yazd steel industrial zone in north-west of Yazd City. One offshoot of the transmission line is also split towards Chadormalu Mines.

Narrative Description of Project:Water transmission from the Persian Gulf to the South East of the Iran's Mining Industries Project will be designated and executed in three main parts. Specification of each part is as follows

First Part:

Capacity: 110 MCM/Y
Start - Finish: Bandar Abbas Desalination Plant and the area of Sirjan Gol-Gohar Mining Co.
Diameter: Steel, 1600(mm)
Pipeline Length: 300 (Km)
Power Consumption: 147 (MW)
No. Pump Station: 7
Internal Lining: Epoxy
External Coating: 3 layer polyethylene, with cothodic protection

Second Part:

Capacity: 75 MCM/Y
Start - Finish: Golgohar Mining Complex –Sarcheshme Mining Complex
Pipe Material and Diameter: Steel, 1300(mm)
Pipeline Length: 150(Km)
Power Consumption: 50(MW)

Internal Lining: Epoxy
External Coating: 3 layer polyethylene with cothodic protection

Third Part:

Capacity : 45 MCM/Y
Start - Finish: Sarcheshmeh Copper Co. -Ardakan Steel Industry in the region of Yazd and also Chadormalu Mining Industries.
Diameter: Steel, 1200, 900(mm), Pipeline Length: 350 (Km), Power Consumption : 10 (MW), No. Pump Station: 2, Internal Lining: Epoxy, External Coating: 3 layer polyethylene with cothodic protection

Description of Actual Services : Study, design & supervision on execution and operation such as, Studies of the project including:, average water consumption, long term water demand, water resources, environmental evaluation; design including civil, mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation; preparation of tender documents and cooperation with the client in the contractor selection stage; Supervision during execution of the works and control and inspection of pipes and equipment during manufacturing process
